I purchase Lipsy clothing via my next account and even though I haven't shopped their products for years I couldn't help loving the gorgeous satin nightwear collection they released this year ? I purchased 3 full length satin pyjamas set and 2 short satin sets. The candy stripe pink and the cornflower and mauve sets are totally gorgeous! They've been washed and washed and the quality never fails. The majority of satin pyjamas fray at the seams but not Lipsy! The only downfall is the sizing. I'm a size 10-12 and all my satin sets are in a size 18 unfortunately there's nothing beyond an 18 they are a slender fit but certainly not uncomfortable to sleep in there is quite a lot of give in the material. Whoever, designs the Lipsy range you are doing an absolutely amazing job. The fabrics and styles are stunning. It's just the sizing that needs amending. Keep up the wonderful work ?❤

I’m normally a size 12 but am aware that Lipsy items come up
small, so punted for a 14 dress - it came nowhere near and even the size 16 (two sizes up) was a squeeze. That’s madness, and it makes shopping a pain when it should be a pleasure.

Lipsy need to take some responsibility here. It’s not only about ensuring a smooth shopping experience for customers - who are evidently wasting precious time and money trying on and returning/re-trying inaccurately sized clothes. This is about women’s self esteem and believe me - so many people will choose not to buy from you for not wanting that bigger number in their dress tag.

Sort it out, Lipsy. By making clothes that are truer to size you’ll give your customers and your profitability a boost. It’s a no-brainer… And you have a duty of care on many levels.

Definitely need to order a size up. I’m a size 10/12 and fit a 14. Experienced the small sizes in a previous order.

The black scallop neck cap sleeve, scallop hem dress is absolutely beautiful, purchased yesterday thought a little pricey but after trying it on I would pay a 100 pounds. Material is beautiful and for once a size 12 is a size 12. Fits perfect, the length just on my knee is perfect ,very flatteting and classy. Love love love it.

The only criticism I have to make about Lipsy is there are too many high neck dresses ,we dint want high neck summer dresses especially,there not comfortable and not feminine,but apart from that I have nothing bad to say about them
I have purchased 6 Lipsy dresses in the last few months,I love them all ,very comfortable and fit perfectly,I always get lovely compliments when I ware them ,if your a true 10 or 12 What ever the fit is perfect,no goid buying a size you think yo are they always look better a size up if your between sizes ,they look better I swear , happy customer just make the necks lower please ??

Sizing too small had to reorder size up so I have now paid twice for postage (3.99 per delivery) and a collection fee for the return (2.50) so over £10 for something that appears everyone else is experiencing too!

Just tried on 4 lipsy dresses quality isn’t the same have they changed their designer as sizing a bit varied .? I used to just need to try on couple off dresses and we’re always a perfect fit and great quality don’t know what has happened .

1st time buying Lipsy and read reviews saying size up, so I did. Talk about Smallest sizing ever!!! You will need to size up by a couple of sizes I think. You almost have to guess at your size. I won't be buying from them again. Not particularly good quality and very poor sizing, almost like a teenage company but with a much bigger price tag.

Same as everyone else- ordered the next size up if a wrap over dress. Nowhere near the correct size by a good 4 inches across the bust. Cheaply made and the colour is not the same as shown on the Next website- more green than the aqua shown. I won’t be ordering Lipsy again.

I’m so upset I ordered a Lipsy size 12 leather jacket out of Next and it was too tight.?I was absolutely devastated.?
Every other jacket I have is a size 12, and I can wear them with jumpers without a problem.
I seriously thought I was putting weight on until I read these awful reviews!!
I’m 5ft 9” tall so not exactly fat, but I honestly felt it today.
Even the quality wasn’t that great to be fair.
I’ll definitely not be buying Lipsy again!!

I have ordered tons of Lipsy stuff online via Next and have finally learnt my lesson - don’t bother! It always goes back. It looks classless and the quality is generally poor. The quality does not match the price tag - not that it is massively expensive but looks cheap and fits poorly.

Absolutely disgusted i bought a dress for my daughter shes 9 i bought 10 years 11 years 12 years 13 years 14 years oh yeah none of them fit they get bigger on the bust but not on the waist no wonder young girls think they are fat i am absolutely mortified that you think an age 14 dress should have room for a 34c boob but not a waist kids arent born with cardi b figures!!

Thought I was the only one to think the sizing was too small but seems I'm not.

I'm a size 10.. so I purchased a size size 12 Jean. I tried them on and they was so small I couldn't even get them up!

I was having a bad day anyway and burst into tears ? as I initially thought gosh I can't fit into my new pair of lipsy jeans. I then tried on another purchase of a size 12 Jean from elsewhere and it fits perfectly.

Lipsy why are your sizes so ridiculously small!

Ordered a gorgeous lipsy cold shoulder dress online. Its about half the size it should be! Like comically so I could see before I triedbto put the dress on that it was too small. You can't just make up your own sizes. Even without that though the quality is terrible. It looks like I have made this dress myself. And I cannot sew. Stitches and thread hanging out everywhere. The buttons holes look like they are just been cut into the fabric , frayed edges everywhere and buttons hanging off.

Ordered a dress for a wedding £120!!
I ordered my usual size and I couldn’t even get it half was up my body, so tried the next size up, once again too small! Absolutely shocking how small the sizes are especially for the price! I’d expect this from Primark but not a so called reputable Brand! Nothing like making dresses 2/3 times smaller to encourage people to buy from you! I will never order from lipsy again!
